Read more in 2018
It’s way too cold for me to want to run outside this morning so I am working out on the elliptical.
I am also reading a fascinating book. Even if you don’t have kids or your kids are older, I think this is a great book.
I have been meaning to get started on this library book I borrowed for a while now.
I don’t love reading while working out on the elliptical, but I want to finish this book before it is due back to the library.
All I can say is how important boundaries really are and how wonderful this book is so far.
I want my kids to grow up and understand that their hard work and understanding of the control they have over their lives has made them who they are in whatever path they decide to go down.
2018 for me is going to be a year of growth.
I think sometimes in life we feel badly when we read or see something that other people are doing/achieving that we wish we were doing.
Instead of comparing, let’s make 2018 a positive year of me too. Give yourself a positive boost and say I can be a better mom, I can work out, I can set goals and achieve them.
Life really is what you decide to make out of it.
Just finished my work out. I told myself I wasn’t a morning person. I told myself working out in the morning at 5am with 2 kids was impossible.
So guess what I did? I stopped talking and starting doing.
I stopped telling myself what I couldn’t do and started showing myself what I was capable of all along.
If I can do it, you can too. Turn off the no mentality in your own head and start showing yourself yes.
Here is a great paragraph from a book I am reading that I highly recommend for anyone to read.
