Plan less, Play more
I needed to read this article today. I am a big offender of planning and over planning. (Just ask my husband about our trip to San Fran before kids were in the picture. I don’t think I gave ourselves a moment of down time the entire trip, oops!)
Now I feel like a weight has been taken off of my shoulders after reading this article below.
I like to tell myself that I need to schedule a bunch of activities because my boys are very busy.
Well, the truth is they can keep themselves busy or find something creative to do on their own.
I do give them time to just play, but I am changing my perspective on how they play.
I am realizing now that I don’t have to plan out exactly how they play. Also, I need to be sure I don’t sign them up for too many activities.
Right now, my oldest is just doing soccer on Saturday morning.
