Well, I felt like I needed to share my knowledge about unemployment since I have moved so many times. If you relocate due to a spouses job, you should qualify for unemployment (factoring in how long you worked etc.). 

You pay into unemployment so it makes sense to use it. You file in the state you moved from, and I would advise to call unemployment on the phone to get answers to any questions you might have for them. Also, when you move out of state, you sometimes have to apply over the phone instead of filing online.

States have different laws/rules so just because someone had an experience in one state, the policies may be different.
