Lessons Learned
The last few months have been pretty intense. This move to Omaha has been filled with ups and downs. I have learned some pretty important life lessons. I’ll say the most important ones have been the hardest ones to learn/accept.
I have learned that change happens, and that worrying and stressing about it really doesn’t add value. I have learned that I will never be perfect as a mother, wife, etc. and that is fine.
Change isn’t easy for anyone, and I don’t fear it anymore. When I found out my family and I would be moving again, I had so much anxiety that I just didn’t want to think about starting over again. I didn’t think I could do it.
I started doing Yoga and I try to walk as often as I can to clear my mind and get more physical activity.
I am also giving myself credit for all of the achievements I have made since moving to a city where we had no connections at all besides that he had a job here.
I have learned a lot more, and I hope to share some inspiring stories. I know I have been inspired by some pretty great people here in Omaha. My family continuously motivates and inspires me to be positive and appreciate the big and little things in life.
